this took about 3 weeks to paint, plus another
5 days before that to do some preliminary drawings.
it was inspired a lot by the work of Mark Ryden, DaVinci, Raphael, and Fragonard.

I thought it would be digital when I clicked, but am delighted that it is a painting. I enjoy the classically done background with the stylized figure. You have a really wonderful style in all of your work, and your skill is obvious. When you say preliminary drawings, did you work this out in your head, or pull from other images? Also, what does the MMV represent?
